INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR PEACE THROUGH TOURISM
The 4th IIPT conference was held in Uganda during the period of 20th-25th May at the Serena Hotel Kampala. The founder and president Louis D’Amore was accompained by his team for the conference and several other delegates from different African countries and the president of Bermuda.
The Ministry of Tourism Trade and industry were the chief organisers with a great help from Asyanut Safaris, MICE Uganda that organised the Ushers and transport for delegates to their respective hotels.
The conference was held in partnership with the Africa Travel Association and Africa Wildlife Foundation. It aspired to foster a broader awareness of the social, cultural, environmental and economic benefits to tourism; facilitate product development and identify new markets and investment opportunities and contribute to reconciliation, peace and the reduction of poverty on the African continent.
