A 10 day safari which starts in Kampala and finishes on the Rwanda Border.

This safari starts FROM Kampala to Murchison Fall National park, then on to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) to see the great game of Africa in the magnificent QENP – elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo and leopard. Around Ishasha visit the tree-climbing lions lounging on old fig trees. Then continue to track gorillas in the primeval forest of Bwindi and on the Airport in Entebbe.

Day 1 – Arrival and hotel transfer.

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and received by your driver guide from Asyanut safaris who will then brief you as he transfers you to your hotel for overnight at Emin pasha hotel. (BB).

Day 2- Kampala – Murchison Falls

After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked and transferred North West via Masindi town to Murchison falls national park that allows you an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking before proceeding for a lunch break in Masindi town. On arrival at the park; you will encounter a variety of animal and bird species as you proceed to visit the top of the falls and later return to cross the Nile River to your lodge, relax into the evening, dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 3- Murchison Falls – National Park

After an early morning warm up tea/coffee, you will be transferred for a game drive on the northern bank in search of animals like: lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, buffaloes among other animal and bird species that your guide will help you spot. This will see you return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, buffaloes and elephants on the river bank . Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge. (FB)

Day 4- Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale forest national park

After breakfast depart Murchison Falls and drive Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley through Hoima the town of the Bunyoro Kitara kingdom passing through verdant countryside traditional homesteads and tea plantations. You will arrive in Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom late afternoon; proceed to arrive at the Park for a relaxed evening dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge. (FB)

Day 5 – Kibale Forest (Chimp tracking) – QE National Park.

After your breakfast, you will be transferred to the Chimpanzee tracking information office for a pre-briefing by the ranger guidewho will then lead you into the rain forest where you will spend most of the morning in search of chimpanzees. These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but a forest walk is an enriching activity. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates including Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates but also on all the forest’s fauna and flora. Return to have your lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park following the Rwenzori Mountain range most of the journey. On arrival at the park, you will take an en-route game drive as you transfer to the Mweya peninsular for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge. (FB)

Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After an early morning warm up tea or coffee at 6:30am, you will be transferred for a game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in search of animals like: lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, and over 606 bird species recorded here, this will see you return for a full breakfast, relax into the lunch break. After lunch, you will be transferred to enjoy a unique two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This launch cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game viewing at close range. Return for an easy evening, dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (FB)

Day 7 – Queen Elizabeth National Park/Ishasha Sector – Bwindi

After your breakfast, transfer for a game drive to the Ishasha sector of the tree climbing lions in search of these great cats among other species (However, this will depend on the road condition to Ishasha at the time of visit otherwise we may not visit it and just proceed to Bwindi for our lunch at Ruhija gorilla lodge. Relax at the comfort of your lodge, dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge. (FB)

Day 8- Gorilla Trekking (Bwindi).

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information office for a pre-briefing by the park rangers who will then lead you into the forest trekking this great relatives of ours (Mountain gorillas). The rainforest is dense and is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas as they interact with each other is a memorable one. After this day’s gorgeous adventure, you will return for lunch (if not parked), relax and freshen up at your lodge and later depending on your interest, transfer for a short community walk to see these local people’s way of life and cultures returning later for a relaxed evening dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge (FB)

Day 9- Bwindi – Kampala

After your breakfast, you will depart Bwindi Forest and drive back to Kampala via Mbarara and Masaka arriving Kampala late in the evening to check into – Metropole Hotel for overnight (Dinner not included in cost).

Day 10

After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and drive to Jinja to visit the source of the Nile and Bujagali falls; Lunch in Jinja then return to go to the Airport.
