3DAYS MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Day 1: Kampala – Murchison falls national park.
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide from Asyanut safaris who will then transfer you North West via Masindi town to Murchison falls national park that allows you an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking before proceeding for a lunch break in Masindi town. On arrival at the park; you will encounter a variety of animal and bird species as you proceed to visit the top of the falls and later transfer to your lodge for a relaxed evening dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge. Day 2: Murchison falls
After an early morning warm up tea/coffee, you will transfer for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like: lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, buffaloes among other animal and bird species that your guide will help you spot. This will see you return to your lodge, for lunch. After lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of falls where you will have the opportunity to view animals like; hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, buffaloes and elephants on the river bank with an option to hike to the top of the falls. Returning to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge (FB)
Day 3: Murchison Falls – Kampala/Entebbe
After an early morning breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Drive through Bulisa – Hoima the town of the Bunyoro Kitara kingdom, passing through verdant countryside traditional homesteads and tea plantations. Lunch will be served at Kolping House Hoima hen proceed to Fort Portal for overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel.(BB)
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale – Queen Elizabeth national park.
Wake up early for breakfast and then travel to Kibale forest, on arrival, register the with the park authorities after which you will be transferred just a few meters to the chimpanzee tracking information office for a pre-briefing by your ranger guides who will then lead you into the rain forest tracking these primates (Chimpanzees). These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but a forest walk is an enriching activity that starts at 8.00 am taking about 4 hours. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other and butterflies. The guide will provide detailed, You will have lunch at Primate lodge before driving back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel (BB)
Day 5: Fort Portal to Kampala
After breakfast, you will depart Bwindi and travel to Kampala via Mityana. You will arrive in time for lunch at your hotel.
