A 4 day safari which starts in Kampala and finishes in Kampala .

This safari starts FROM Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) to see the great game of Africa in the magnificent QENP – elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo and leopard. Around Ishasha visit the tree-climbing lions lounging on old fig trees. Then continue to track gorillas in the primeval forest of Bwindi and back to Kampala.

Arrival and Over night

You will be picked up by your driver guide from Asyanut Safaris from the Airport to Golf Course Hotel in Kampala. Check in for the night and rest after your trip. (BB)


Day 1: Travel from Kampala

After morning breakfast check out of your hotel and transfer to QENP via the equator for a few.

Experiments, then to Mbarara proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Situated on the floor of Albertine Rift Valley it contains varied vegetative habitats, including savannah, acacia woodland, forest, wetland and open water which support a variety of mammals (100) and about 612 bird species. As you drive to the lodge you will have a short game drive en-route to the lodge, Check in and have lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel with the world’s largest concentration of hippos. We spot also buffalos, hyenas, leopards, monitor lizards and a number of snakes, including pythons and cobras. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge. (FB)

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning game drive to see the various savannah animals that QENP has to offer, return to have your full breakfast then check out and transfer to Bwindi via Ishahsha sector for possible sitting of the tree climbing lions enroute to Bwindi. You will stay overnight at Ruhija Gorilla lodge (FB).

Day 3: Bwindi National Park

Today you will track the endangered gorillas. Morning Gorilla tracking and afternoon nature /community walk, dinner and overnight at Silver back Lodge. (FB)

This impenetrable ancient forest is found in the mountain landscape of south-western Uganda. Its great age, 25,000 years, has produced an impressive biodiversity including 350 birds, 310 butterflies, 200 trees, 51 reptiles and 88 moths. However, most Bwindi’s visitors are interested in only one of 120 mammals, the gorillas. Tracking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is one of the world’s most exciting wildlife encounters. Return for lunch and then transfer to Mbarara. Overnight at Lake View Hotel.

Day 4: Mbarara – Kampala

After breakfast, you will depart Mbarara and travel to Kampala with a brief stop at the equator then transfer to have your lunch break in Kampala, proceed to Jinja and stay Overnight at the Crested Crane Hotel/at the Adrift Camp. (FB)

Day 5: Jinja – Entebbe

After breakfast proceed to the Adrift Camp for your half day rafting Trip. Lunch will be at the Adrift Camp before driving to Entebbe to chek into the Imperial Beach Hotel for overnight. (FB)

Day6: Entebbe Airport

Early morning transfer to Entebbe Airpoort for your flight to Nairobi to connect to Lusaka in the afternoon.

Please note that Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited and each costs $600 therefore any gorilla permits required should be purchased at the time of booking. However it’s recommended that you book your permits in advance.
