Found in the western arm of the east African Rift Valley, QENP covers 1,978 sq km, & boasts of over 500 recorded bird species. This includes the shoebill stork, the black bee-eater, and 11 types of kingfisher, species of falcon, eagles and other raptors. Animals that move about in the park include: Lion, Elephant, Hippos, Buffalos, and many other animals.

Day 1: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park

Day of arrival at the Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kibale arriving later in the evening for overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge or Rwenzori Traveller Inn, full board

Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park.

This day you will enter searching for Chimpanzees and other primates including red tailed and grey cheek Mangabey and other primates, the guide will provide detailed explanations not only on primates but also the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primate at close quarters dinner and overnight at Ndanli lodge or Rwenzori Travellers Inn.

Day 3: Kibale – Murchison Falls National Park.

All day drive North via Hoima to Murchison Falls, through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms, Paraa rest in the shadow of the fabled Savannah, dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge or Rwenzori Travelers Inn.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park

will include early morning game drive enabling you to see the Giraffe, lions Elephants, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck hyena and if your lucky, the leopard and a three hours launch trip in the afternoon, allows you more bird watching of species like the shoebill and animals like: – crocodiles, hippos and elephants, before retiring to your camp for dinner and overnight night rest.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park – Kampala

Return back to Kampala or Entebbe depending where your accommodation is located, otherwise transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home.
