Trip Overview: An 8 day safari which starts and finishes in Entebbe. This safari starts from
Kampala and it continues to Kibale Forest with its thirteen species of primate including the
chimpanzee. Tracking the noisy chimpanzee families racing through this verdant forest is a
thrilling experience. Together with Bigodi Wetland nearby, many forest and swamp birds can be
seen, see the great game of Africa in the magnificent Queen Elizabeth National Park – elephant,
lion, buffalo, hippo and leopard. Around Ishasha go on the hunt for the tree-climbing lions
lounging on old fig trees. Then continue to track gorillas in the primeval forest of Bwindi. You
also get the chance to see the Zebras in Lake Mburo the Smallest National Park in Uganda before
passing via the equator back to Kampala

Day 1: Entebbe – Kampala
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met and received by your driver
guide from Asyanut Safaris who will then brief you as he transfers you to your hotel for
overnight at Serena Lake Victoria Resort
Option to Fly into Kasese Airport and then drive to Kibale Forest National Park and
Queen ElizabethDay 2. Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park.
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale via Mityana Mubende road arriving
to have your lunch in Fort Portal town, after lunch, you will have a visit to Amaberega
Nyinamwiru, a famous cultural site linked to the Tooro kingdom, proceeding to the
crater lakes, returning for a short tour of Fort portal town before retiring in your lodge
for an easy/relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Lakeside lodge/Chipundu
Lodge.(FB)Day 3: Kibale National Park
This morning after your early breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale forest national park
to receive a pre – briefing by the ranger guide who will then lead you into the rain forest
where you will spend most of the morning in search of chimpanzees. These primates
are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but a forest walk is an enriching
activity that starts at 8.00 am in the morning taking about 4 to 5 hours.
This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates including
Lhoestes, Red-colobus, Blues, Red-tailed, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds, and
butterflies. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also
on all the forest’s fauna and flora. Lunch will be served at Chipundu lodge, after lunch,
transfer to Bigodi wetland for a Swamp walk, returning later to your lodge for
dinner and overnight at Chipundu lodge (FB)
Day 4. Kibale forerst – Queen Elizabeth national park.
After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park arriving to
have your lunch at Mweya safari lodge after lunch, transfer for a three hours boat ride
along the Kazinga channel, This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration
of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch
cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography, bird watching and game
viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with w ell over 550 resident
Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Twin Lakes Lodge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi impenetrable Gorilla forest.
After an early morning warm up tea or coffee, transfer for a game drive in search of an
imals such as lions, leopards, elephants, Kobs, Topis and many others. Drive back to the
lodge for a full breakfast before checking out with your box lunch transferring to
Bwindi via Ishasha sector of the tree climbing lions, if you are lucky, you may come
across some of this big Cats resting on/under trees heading straight to Bwindi .

Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the gorilla tracking information
centre to receive a pre-briefing by the park rangers before leading you to the gorilla
sanctuary. The rainforest is dense and is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, The
thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is an exciting and memorable
experience. Gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience
to watch and photograph them as they interact with one another, returning later to your
lodge and if time allows, you will take a late afternoon nature/community walk
returning for dinner and overnight at

Option to fly from Bwindi to MbararaDay 7: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest national park
in Uganda; having a game drive enroute to the lodge, arriving to have your lunch at the
lodge, after lunch, take a boat ride on lake Mburo returning for an evening
safari/community walk, diner and overnight at Kigambira Safari Lodge/Mihingo
lodge (FB)

Day 8: Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala.
After your breakfast, transfer for a game drive in search of the beautiful impalas, zebras,
Cape buffalos, elands, oribi and topis, The park is a very good opportunity for bird
watchers, who will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found here, return to check out
and depart back to Kampala via the equator that allows you perform some simple
experiment and take photos here, proceeding to arrive in Kampala/Entebbe for your
departure back home, having covered a cross section of attractions of probably one of
the greenest countries on earth. We look forward to welcoming you back for more

Please note that Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited and each
costs $750 in Uganda and $1500 in Rwanda therefore any gorilla permits required should be
purchased at the time of booking.
However it’s recommended that you book your permits while in advance starting from 2 years,
one year or at least 6months to ensure that you get the permits on your desired dates.
Gorilla viewing can be done in both Bwindi in Uganda and Parc National des Volcans (PNV) in
