Day 1 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Meet & Greet in Arusha for the Safari Briefing and departure to Tarangire National Park (Road Journey: 2 – 2,5 hours). Tarangire National Park covers an area of 2850 km² and is named after its river that runs through the heart of the park. During the dry season the river becomes the only existing water source and you can expect excellent game viewings with sightings of buffalo, eland, giraffe, kudu, wildebeest, zebra as well as predators like hyena, leopard and lion. The park is also known for its large elephant population and its majestic baobab trees. Enjoy the day on game drive inside the National Park. In the late afternoon proceed your lodge located at the park border and overlooking Lake Burunge. Accommodation: Sangaiwe Tented Camp on Full Board Basis Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2 - Lake Manyara National Park
Start early with picnic-lunch to the entrance gate of Manyara National Park (Road Journey: 1 – 1,5 hours) and explore Manyara National Park during a full day game drive. Manyara National Park is only a small park with 330 km² and it is located between the Rift Valley Escarpment Wall and the soda lake Manyara. During wet season the soda lake covers the majority of the park, but is nearly non-existent during the dry season. More than 400 bird species inhabit this park and the park is therefore a good spot for bird watching. You can also expect to see large families of blue monkeys and baboons, dik-dik, elephants, gazelles, giraffes, impalas, wildebeests, zebras and many more. In the afternoon drive up the Rift Valley to your accommodation in Karatu. Accommodation: Karatu Country Lodge on Full Board Basis Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 & 4 - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast proceed with the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park (Road Journey: 4 – 6 hours) and explore Serengeti National Park during an afternoon game drive and on the following day. Serengeti National Park is a sanctuary for a large variety of animals and it is famously known for its wildebeest migration. Accommodation: Serengeti Mawe Camp on Full Board Basis Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater
Proceed with picnic-lunch to the entrance gate of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and continue to the descent road of the Ngorongoro Crater (Road Journey: 3 – 3,5 hours). The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most frequently visited safari destinations in the Northern Circuit. The Crater is actually a “caldera” that was formed during a volcanic eruption and is now home to an abundant wildlife variety. More than 25,000 animals call this crater their home and the crater is well known for its “Big Five” and its large lion population. Enjoy a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater (Crater Visit is limited to 6 hours per vehicle) and return to your lodge in Karatu in the afternoon. Accommodation: Karatu Country Lodge on Full Board Basis Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 - Karatu – Arusha
After a relaxed morning return with picnic-lunch and by road to Arusha and be dropped-off in Arusha Town or at Arusha Airport (ARK) / Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
